Hindi Television star Shaheer Sheikh and his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Friday night, as reported by BollywoodLife. While no official announcement of the baby’s arrival has been shared by the couple, more details are awaited.
Shaheer hosted a baby shower for Ruchikaa in August, 2021 and the function was attended by the couple’s close friends and family members, including actors Krystle D’Souza and Ridhi Dogra. The couple themed the decoration blue and pink, being careful not dropping a hint whether they were expecting a boy or a girl.
The Mahabharat star got hitched with Ruchikaa in a court marriage in November 2020. The couple planned on hosting a ceremony for their loved ones in Jammu, although they scrapped the plans owing to the Coronavirus crisis.
Shaheer announced his engagement with Ruchikaa in a cute social media post as he was seen holding her hand which has the engagement ring and she laughed her heart out. He wrote, "#TuHasdiRaveexcited for the rest of my life..#ikigai"
On the work front, Shaheer Sheikh has gained popularity as a TV actor over the years with his iconic roles. The actor has been seen as Arjun in Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Navya, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi and many others. He is currently working in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3. He will next be seen in Pavitra Rishta 2 along with Ankita Lokhande.
Sushant and Ankita became household names after playing the roles of Manav and Archana in the Zee TV drama, respectively. 'Pavitra Rishta 2' will be available for streaming on ZEE5 from September 15.
Ruchikaa Kapoor, on the other hand, is the head of Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms' Films division.
